Single In-Class Workshop

PTT artists visit your classroom to facilitate a workshop rooted in PTT’s celebrated devised theater curriculum. The workshop will be tailored to meet the needs of your class and can explore topics such as ensemble skills, collaborative performance, autobiographical theater and writing, creative movement, and more.

Short-term Residency
4 workshops
PTT Artists work with your students to introduce the skills required for devised, ensemble-based theater. Each workshop focuses on an aspect of PTT’s curriculum, including tableaux, voice, creative movement, autobiographical writing, and
collaboration. The series culminates in a script that includes writing from each student and explores themes significant to the group.

Long-term Devised Theater Residency
PTT Artists collaborate with your students to devise a fully realized theater piece based on their own stories and chosen themes. This residency can take place during class or as an after-school program, meeting twice a week. Students will explore ensemble, writing, movement, and performance to bring their stories to life in a dynamic, physical theater piece that elevates their voices and sparks productive dialogue. The program concludes with a polished performance and talk-back with the audience.
